The Listening Tents Project set forth a space that we could listen deeply and meaningfully to the extream poor
The listening Tents project was based on the community Mobilisation guidance note
The project held group discussions These discussions were with Midwives, pregnant women, men and people with disabilities.
Group feedback with people with disabilities
Of all the group discussions we had this was very special. For this group it was paradocily less about there disabilities and more about simply being heard.
We listened to over 480 individual stories
To understand their situation. While we don’t know all the solutions, yet the process of listening.
And then they sang

We created 4 different reports
These reports detail the situation of the camp and their needs. They are currently in active use to find to develop a cordintaed response between the United Nations agencies and local organisations
